Shanghai Securities News, China Securities Journal (Reporter Wang Wenyan) On September 24, the inauguration ceremony of the Energy Storage Technology and Equipment Professional Committee of the Shanghai New Energy Industry Association and the Global New Energy Empowerment Center was held at the opening of the "SNEC ES+ 9th (2024) International Energy Storage and Battery Technology & Equipment (Shanghai) Conference and Exhibition" in Shanghai's Pudong district.
The conference, themed "Building a New Energy Storage Industry Chain to Empower the Next-Generation Power System and Smart Grid," aims to serve national strategies, align with national needs, and develop advanced productive forces.
The Minhang District Investment Promotion Center of Shanghai signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Shanghai New Energy Industry Association. The two parties will deepen collaboration in areas such as investment projects, business promotion activities, and industry expert resources to jointly drive high-quality economic development.
The China Electric Power Construction Enterprise Association and GCL Group also signed a strategic cooperation agreement, under which they will collaborate to promote high-quality development in power construction, advance energy and power technology innovation, and support green transformation.
To thoroughly implement the national strategic deployment for the new energy industry and promote technological progress and market application of new energy products, the China Electric Power Construction Enterprise Association and the Shanghai New Energy Industry Association jointly announced the launch of the "Power Construction New Energy Product Promotion Catalog" initiative. During the conference, they released the "Notice on Initiating the Compilation of the 'Power Construction New Energy Product Promotion Catalog.'"
Co-organized by the Global Green Energy Council, the Asia-Pacific New Energy Industry Association, the China Electric Power Construction Enterprise Association, the Chinese Renewable Energy Society, the Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics, the Shanghai Science and Technology Exchange Center, the Shanghai New Energy Industry Association, and the SNEC Energy Storage, Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Industry Alliance, this exhibition is one of the world's most influential and large-scale energy storage events, aiming to establish itself as a premier global gathering for the energy storage industry.
Concurrently, the "SNEC H2+ 7th (2024) International Hydrogen Energy & Fuel Cell Technology & Equipment and Application (Shanghai) Conference and Exhibition" was also held in Shanghai's Pudong district.
